Foundation Waterproofer

Foundation Waterproofer is the final self-leveling elastomeric membrane in the Enviroguard Liquid-Applied Foundation Waterproofing System. Applied over the Foundation Base Coat, it forms one continuous, seamless barrier rated for negative and positive-side below-grade service. The crack-bridging film flexes with the structure instead of fracturing, while its breathable formula resists liquid water yet lets vapor escape, so it won’t blister or delaminate.

  • Hydrostatic waterproofing. Rated for both negative and positive-side below-grade service.
  • Crack bridging. Elastomeric membrane flexes with the structure rather than fracturing over movement.
  • Breathable. Resists liquid water while letting vapor escape, so it won’t blister or delaminate.
  • Seamless membrane. Liquid-applied to create one continuous, seamless waterproof barrier.
  • Self-leveling. Self-leveling elastomeric film flows out to a uniform finished membrane.
  • System compatibility. Final waterproofing membrane for Systems 2 & 3 of the Enviroguard Liquid-Applied Foundation Waterproofing System.
  1. Review bridging compound procedures to determine if a Foundation Base Coat is required.
  2. Confirm Foundation Base Coat is installed, inspected, and cured.
  3. Apply Foundation Waterproofer at 14–18 wet mils by airless spray, brush, or roller.
  4. Verify wet-film thickness with a wet mil gauge as you work.
  5. On positive-side (System 3), allow full cure before installing protection board.
  6. Allow full cure before any hydrostatic load or backfill.

Foundation Waterproofer covers approximately 90–115 ft²/gal when applied at 14–18 wet mils. Actual yield varies with substrate porosity and surface texture, so rougher or more porous walls will pull toward the lower end of the range.
