Oxypar LR is a ready-to-use, shelf stable hydrogen peroxide cleaner for soil load removal during remediation. When used directly after the application of OxyPrep, it chemically reacts and neutralizes on contact, driving all contaminants to the surface. The reaction produces a foam that benefits the process by containing the contaminants within it for wet extraction.
Oxypar LR may be used on most construction materials including treated and untreated lumber, OSB, particle board, masonry surfaces, concrete, brick, wall board, painted surfaces and composite construction materials. Surfaces also include sheathing, trusses, framing, joists, plates, pillars, posts, beams and studs.
When used alone:
- Identifies contaminants with vigorous foaming
- Penetrates quickly to lift and suspend soiling on the surface
- Actively brightens surfaces for up to 24 hours
As Part 2 of the REACT/EXTRACT SYSTEM
- Chemically neutralizes OxyPrep
- Suspends soil load into the foam
- Allows for “no scrub” fast wet extraction
- Eliminates chemical odors
- Eye & Respiratory Protection: Full Face Respirator w/ Multi-gas/Multi-vapor Combination Cartridge or Supplied Air Respirator w/ PAPR Cartridge
- Skin Protection: Chemical Resistant Gloves (Nitrile) and Coverall rated for a minimum of 4 hours and up to 8 hours based upon prolonged chemical exposure and the need for tear resistance
- Consult SDS for additional safety details
If used alone on white metals such as aluminum and zinc, remove with a wet cloth.
Cleanup and Disposal
For unused product, return to original container making sure to not cross contaminate with other chemicals. If spilled, contain material and remove with an inert absorbent. Sweep up and dispose of material.
Dispose of used product per all current federal, state and local regulations.
When used alone:
Oxypar LR will yield 200-300 ft2 per ready-to-use gallon, based upon soil level, surface texture, porosity and application method. Coverage rates do not include loss from over-spray or over-use.
As Part 2 of REACT/EXTRACT
Oxypar LR will yield up to 400 ft2 per ready-to-use gallon since it is being used in the neutralization reaction and is not being used to initialy wet out the surface.
Shelf Life & Storage
When stored at temperatures between 40-90F and out of direct sunlight, shelf life is 12 months.
The Oxypar LR Difference
Stabilized at a lower concentration to prevent deterioration and shelf stability issues as well as to maximize safety for the user. Performance is amplified through the synergy of the REACT/EXTRACT remediation system.
Use and Instructions
All structural surfaces where organic soil load and contaminants are present.
When used alone:
When applying Oxypar LR, saturate the surfaces to be cleaned with enough product to penetrate the soil on the surfaces and to remain visibly wet for at least 2 minutes or until the Oxypar foam appears dirty (its foaming action lifts and suspends dirt, debris and. contaminants).
Additional agitation using a soft, long bristle nylon brush may assist the cleaning procedure.
As part of the REACT/EXTRACT SYSTEM
Once the surface and soil load are saturated and/or once stain removal is complete with OxyPrep, apply Oxypar LR. The combination of OxyPrep and Oxypar will create a significant and visible foaming action on the surface. Within 2-3 minutes, the soil load will be driven into the foam and to the surface for easy wet extraction.
Oxypar was designed with efficient and complete cleaning in mind.
Mold and mildew staining, fungi, algae, dirt and other organic contaminants are conducive conditions that are problems for residential and commercial property owners alike. Whether active or dormant, spore releasing fungi can be allergenic or toxigenic depending on the individual, and left to fester, fungi can result in indoor air quality issues and sick building syndrome. Most importantly, visible mold staining is an indication of a "Condition 3" environment where settled mold spores are above the natural ecology of the exterior environment surrounding the building.
On contact, the hydrogen peroxide in Oxypar LR oxidizes organics and forms a thick foam. This foam not only identifies the soil load, but it also begins loosening and suspending it to make cleaning faster and easier.
Oxypar LR penetrates the soil load and substrate being cleaned quickly to identify, lift and suspend organics to achieve a clean surface with minimal scrubbing and wiping.
Brightens and Restores
Once surfaces are cleaned with Oxypar LR, the results aren't finished. Surfaces will continue to lighten and brighten over the next 24 hours, providing exceptional results that customers will love.
Safe and Equally Effective
Unlike other peroxide products on the market, Oxypar LR is built with a blend of surfactants and stabilizers that allow it to be as effective as the dangerous products while maintaining the highest degree of safety for workers and customers alike.
Easy to Transport
Oxypar LR is formulated with a proprietary blend hydrogen peroxide, stabilizers, surfactants and wetting agents. However, it is done with DOT regulation in mind. Since Oxypar LR doesn't ship as an oxidizer, there are no placarding requirements when you transport it in trucks or vans.
No Chemical Residues
Oxypar LR is also uniquely formulated to leave behind no residue. While this is conventional with hydrogen peroxide, the stabilizers, surfactants and wetting agents are completely non-durable and rapidly biodegrade, leaving behind a fresh and clean surface and environment.
Oxypar LR is a great cleaner. However, by pre-treating surfaces with OxyPrep first and then applying Oxypar LR, within a few minutes you have the most effective system for remediation available on the market called REACT|EXTRACT. Not only is this system more effective at removing mold staining, penetrating soil load and lifting it from the surface, but the physical action and heat that it creates allows for easy extraction from surfaces and the most complete clean you've ever seen. If S-520 is your focus, then REACT|EXTRACT is your tool for achieving it with maximum profitability.
