Description
OxyPrep is a ready-to-use, water-based mold stain remover. Most importantly, it is Part 1 of REACT/EXTRACT and “preps” the surface for the labor savings and highly effective neutralization reaction that occurs with Oxypar LR.
Features/Benefits
When used alone:
- Fast acting stain removal
- Penetrates through soil load to remove mold & microbial staining
As Part 1 of the REACT/EXTRACT SYSTEM
- Eliminates mold and microbial staining
- Prepares the surface for chemical neutralization with Oxypar LR
Uses
All structural surfaces where mold staining has formed and/or where remediation is necessary.
Surfaces
OxyPrep may be used on most construction materials including treated and untreated lumber, OSB, particle board, masonry surfaces, concrete, brick, wall board, painted surfaces and composite construction materials. Surfaces also include sheathing, trusses, framing, joists, plates, pillars, posts, beams and studs.
Safety
PPE
- Eye & Respiratory Protection: Full Face Respirator w/ Multi-gas/Multi-vapor Combination Cartridge or Supplied Air Respirator w/ PAPR Cartridge
- Skin Protection: Chemical Resistant Gloves (Nitrile) and Coverall rated for a minimum of 4 hours and up to 8 hours based upon prolonged chemical exposure and the need for tear resistance
- Consult SDS for additional safety details
First Aid
Burning, pain and severe corrosive skin damage. Causes serious eye damage. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling and blurred vision. Permanent eye damage including blindness can result. If inhaled: Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist. If on skin: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with water/shower. If symptoms develop or persist call a physician or poison control center immediately, chemical burns must be treated by a physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If in eye: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present. Continue rinsing. Call a physician or poison control center immediately, if symptoms develop or persist. If ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach contents do not get into lungs.

Precautions
Chlorinated products will damage surfaces if left unneutralized. Always neutralize with OxyPar LR following use.
Instructions
When used alone:
Apply OxyPrep with a coarse sprayer, effectively wetting out the entire surface to the point of run-off. Allow OxyPrep to dwell on the surface for at least 30-60 seconds or until stain removal is sufficient.
As Part 1 of REACT/EXTRACT
Apply OxyPrep per previous instruction. While surface is still wet with OxyPrep, apply OxyPar LR for neutralization reaction. See Oxypar LR instruction for more details.
Cleanup & Disposal
For unused product, return to original container making sure to not cross contaminate with other chemicals. If spilled, contain material and remove with an inert absorbent. Sweep up and dispose of material. Dispose of used product per all current federal, state and local regulations.
Coverage Rate
OxyPrep will yield 200-300 ft2 of coverage per ready-to-use gallon based upon surface texture, porosity and application method. Coverage rates do not include loss from over-spray or over-use.
Shelf Life & Storage
When stored at temperatures between 40-90F and out of direct sunlight, shelf life is 6 months.
Competitive Difference
Stabilized at a lower concentration to prevent deterioration and shelf stability issues as well as to maximize safety for the user. Performance is amplified through the synergy of the REACT/EXTRACT remediation system.
