Instructions
When used as directed, this product is an effective deodorant, fungistat, algaestat, and mildewstat agent and general purpose antimicrobial. For all applications, clean surfaces before using product.Apply by mop, sponge, any dosing device or sprayer, ensuring visible wetness for times specified for these applications, or apply through immersion or clean-in- place application. Wear aNIOSH/MHSA approved respirator appropriate for chlorine dioxide when using a high-pressurized sprayer. It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with thelabeling. Contains a 0.4% chlorine dioxide oxidizing agent. Add Dutrion Powder components A & B to clean water only. Do not mix both Powder components with vinegar, hydrochloric, nitric or aceticacid or cleaning agents.
Preparing a 4,000 PPM (0.4%) Dutrion® Chlorine Dioxide Concentrate
This procedure outlines how to produce a 4,000 PPM chlorine dioxide stock solution using Dutrion Powder Component A and Component B.
Stock Solution Concentration
- Final concentration: 4,000 PPM chlorine dioxide (0.4%)
- Mixing ratio (by weight):
50 parts water : 1 part Dutrion Powder
(50% Component A + 50% Component B)
General Preparation Rule
- Always prepare the chlorine dioxide stock solution using full, matched packages of both Component A and Component B
- Never mix partial packages
Preparing the Stock Solution (General Formula)
- Fill a qualified container with clean, potable water
- Calculate the water volume by multiplying the weight of Dutrion Powder Component A by 50
- Add equal weights of:
- Dutrion Powder Component A
- Dutrion Powder Component B
- Follow Steps 1–3 from the “Mixing Instructions for Dutrion Powder” to complete activation

Using Dutrion Powders A & B

Producing a liquid chlorine dioxide solution from Dutrion Powder Component A and Dutrion Powder Component B.
Important Handling & Safety Information
The powders and the resulting liquid solution must be handled with care. All procedures must be followed according to the product label and the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
General Safety Guidelines
- Read the MSDS for Component A and Component B before use
- Be aware of off-gassing — never mix components in open containers or buckets
- Wear appropriate safety gear:
- Respirator
- Goggles
- Gloves
- Ensure adequate ventilation during preparation and storage
- Use potable water with a maximum temperature of 104°F (40°C)
- Contact your supplier with any questions before opening the foil packages
- Follow all mixing steps carefully to produce the correct stock solution
