MaxGuard is a flat-white protective coating for the long-lasting protection of most construction materials in interior, exterior or high humidity areas. Once cured, it forms a durable and stain-resistant flat-white finish. MaxGuard is breathable to prevent against wet and dry rot and allows for drying if saturated in the future.

MaxGuard is used to protect most construction materials including treated and untreated lumber, OSB, particle board, masonry surfaces, concrete, brick, wallboard, composite construction materials and metals. Surfaces also include sheathing, trusses, framing, joists, plates, pillars, posts, beams and walls.

MaxGuard is formulated as a ready-to-use coating. It can be applied with a brush, roller or airless sprayer to obtain an even finish. Do not apply past the point of run off. A cross-hatching technique is the best way to ensure sufficient wet/dry film thickness and complete coverage. For warranted best results, apply at 160 ft2 per gallon (800 ft2 per pail = 10 wet mils) based upon location, surface texture, porosity, age and application method. For best results, apply two even coats perpendicularly to each other (i.e. vertically and horizontally). Allow the first coat to dry to the touch before the second application. Does not include loss from over-spray or over-use.
