SafeGuard Encapsulant is available in three color variations: semi-transparent, white and blue. All three formulas are breathable, mold and moisture resistant for the protection of structural materials both during new construction or after remediation in new and existing construction. 
 
SafeGuard Blue Encapsulant is our newest formula. It was developed specifically for construction applications to deal with "lumberyard mold". The blue pigment in the formla is meant to easily identify and assist the quality control process during installation. 
 
SafeGuard White Encapsulant is formulated for professional use in post-remediation applications where long term mold and moisture resistance, stain blocking and breathability is essential.   
 
SafeGuard Semi-Transparent Encapsulant is formulated for professional use in post-remediation applications where long term mold and moisture resistance, substrate visibility and breathability is essential.
 
All SafeGuard formulas contain a marine-grade, and EPA registered antimicrobial that is built to withstand moisture prone environments per ASTM D-5590 testing. This non-leaching antimicrobial system prevents against mold, fungi, mildew, algae and odor-causing bacterial growth on the coating surface*. It's non-VOC acrylic adhesion and binding system has been proven to be the most durable in the industry. SafeGuard’s low VOC formula contributes 1 point via LEED IEQ Credit 4.2 (low-emitting paints & coatings) to any project. For interior use only.
